Lavo is an iPhone app for people who do not want to ruin their clothes. Photograph a garment and it gives you the exact programme, temperature and spin for your specific washing machine. No care label needed.
Lavo currently knows 28 machines from 18 brands including Miele, Bosch, Samsung, LG, AEG and Siemens, each modelled down to its real dial positions and spin steps. More are added continuously.
No, and that is the point. Lavo reads the fibres and condition from a photo of the garment itself, so faded, cut-out or missing labels do not matter.
Every guide is generated by the same engine that powers the app, run against each machine's real programme list. Nothing is copied from generic advice sites. Checked July 2026.
