How to wash silk
Silk is a delicate protein fibre. It is safest hand washed in cool water, machine heat and spin can damage it.
Silk loses its sheen and weakens with heat, strong spin and harsh detergent. Hand wash or use a delicates cycle in cool water with a gentle detergent.
